Photoblog Blast from the Past
photodog

Here are some of the more interesting photos I absconded with this past weekend.

Clowns eat children.

Here a young lad, possibly my brother, confronts a clown menacing a little girl. One day I would like to do a painting based on this photo, as the scene is quite bizarre.

clean lederhosen

Note that my brother's lederhosen appear clean and in good repair. This is not cruel treatment of my brother, as they were living in Germany at the time and merely honoring local customs by dressing him as such. How cute! (My brother does not trifle with the Internet and thus I am unlikely to suffer retribution for posting this.)

milking a plastic cow

Okay, I can take it as well as dish it out. I have no idea why we are trying to milk a statue of a cow. I have no memory of this incident, and it's just as well.

mum at my age

This is my Mum when she was my age. I have never seen her with this sort of smile on her face, though friends may note that I smile like this for the camera on a regular basis.

Was your brother a naughty alpine boy?
Your smile is a little wider (and sillier) my dear! Did you inherit your sense of humor from her as well? You two look a lot alike.
I don't think my bro was naughty until he started smoking and listening to Jimi Hendrix in jr. high school.
My sense of humor mostly comes from my dad - the weird part, anyway. We pass on our appearance genes that way, bro looks like dad and I look like Mum. Just as well, don't think I'd look good with a dimple in my chin.
